Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Schmoozly when you book, host, or pay for a conversation session.

This page is not final. The sections below outline what this policy will cover. The full text is being prepared and will replace this outline before it is relied on.

Who can use Schmoozly

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You confirm your age when you set up your profile, and we may end access to accounts that do not meet this requirement.

Your account

What you are responsible for: keeping your login details private, the accuracy of the information on your profile, and everything that happens under your account.

Booking and attending sessions

How sessions are scheduled and joined, what is expected of both people on a call, and what happens when someone is late or does not arrive.

Payments, cancellations, and refunds

How prices are set and charged, and how money moves when a session is cancelled or missed. The current rules are set out on our cancellation and no-show policy page.

For Hosts

The additional terms that apply when you host sessions: how your listing is reviewed, how you are paid, and the standards expected of you.

Acceptable use

Conduct that is not permitted on Schmoozly, including harassment, taking conversations off the platform to avoid fees, and misusing other people's personal information.

Ending your access

When an account can be suspended or closed, by you or by us, and what happens to bookings and balances when that occurs.

Liability and disputes

The limits of our responsibility, and how disagreements between you and Schmoozly are handled.

Changes to these terms

How we will tell you when these terms change, and what your options are if you do not agree to the new version.
